With over 30 long years of rich experience in selling, marketing and business development across industry verticals & domains, from selling products to concept selling to media sales, from direct selling to consultative selling, I have recruited, trained, managed and led large sales teams and am currently helping people – be it customers, clients, business friends and/or salespeople to realize their potential in sales and marketing.
During my journey as an entrepreneur offering digital marketing services, I realised that most micro, small and medium business owners have a perpetual problem of either generating new prospects, getting appointments and closing new sales, or retaining customers. This invariably resulting in plateauing in their top line revenues. That typically results in selling to survive instead of selling to thrive.
Many such organisations don’t have the resources, time and knowhow to grow sales and marketing capabilities. While some others might have a sound idea but very little commercial experience and others are simply unsure about future growth direction.
Given this perpetual situation, investing appropriately on marketing initiatives or training & honing selling skills & techniques for better and consistent sales closes, seems to be the biggest challenge that these companies are faced with.
